Kurt was born and raised in the Napa Valley of Northern California.  He first started acting in High School when he did a run of CATS and WEST SIDE STORY.  Already slated to play Div I college football at Sacramento State University, he continued his acting and received a MA in Theater Arts as well as a BA in Management Information Systems.  He was also a member of the prestigious Phi Delta Theta national fraternity.  After college he went on to study theater at the American Conservatory of Dramatic Arts in San Francisco, before finally moving to Los Angeles to do Film and Television.  He is also the Founder of Provenance Room, a full service company that produces film, teaches acting classes, private coaches and mentors. His self proclaimed pinnacle accomplishment in life, was the birth of his daughter in 2011.
